What it is

PinnChrome Rainbow is an iridescent, multi-colour reflective finish in the PinnChrome range. We process purchased coated glass; we do not coat glass in house. A coating side is agreed, edges are prepared to suit the coating, and toughening, lamination or IGU assembly follows where the coating allows.

How it differs from other PinnChrome options

Silver, Ocean Blue, Evergreen and Bronze Gold each have a single dominant colour. Rainbow shifts in colour with viewing angle and light, making it a feature finish rather than a background facade tone.

Typical uses include feature elements, retail and hospitality facades, canopies and interior screens where colour play is part of the design.

Working within the PinnChrome range

PinnChrome products are purchased coated glasses that we process at our plant; we do not coat glass in house. For each project a coated glass and coating side are agreed, edges are prepared to suit the coating, and toughening, lamination or IGU assembly follows where the selected coating allows it. Panes are then inspected under suitable light. Whether a particular coating can be edged, toughened or laminated depends on the product, so we confirm before production. Reflective appearance and privacy depend on the balance of lighting inside and outside the building, and both change between day and night, so approve colour with a sample.
